Revolution can start now, it can start with
each of us... if we want it to.
Benefit Concerts
Benefit concerts are done approximately once or twice a month to assist organizations that are working to provide basic needs and/or bring progressive/revolutionary change. We have organized close to 300 benefits since 1985, raising over $200,000 as of January 2000. See Flyers from various concerts in the past »

You Can Do It! Booklet
The You Can Do It! was put together to help others form their own activist groups, with tips on putting on benefits, putting out records, etc. While still being a useful manual, we envision a PF project to revise and update it so please let us know if you'd like to help!
All Our Power Concert Series
All Our Power is an on-going campaign of Positive Force DC, designed to support organizations that meet basic human needs, bridge diverse communities, and organize grassroots power. Our ultimate aim is to help build a majority progressive movement in the USA. Over the months to come, we will be sponsoring monthly concerts for groups such as Empower DC, the Washington Free Clinic, We Are Family/NWSH, ONE DC, Jobs With Justice, the Latin American Youth Center, the Community Coalition for Justice and Peace, Neighbors Consejo, Urban Village, the Fair Budget Coalition, Youth Action research Group, Project South and beyond. We will be seeking to not only raise money and educate, but to creatively engage and activate our audience. We want participants, not simply spectators; people of all ages willing to join in the bridge building and community empowerment process, generating the relationships across boundaries that make a movement possible. We will have a special -- but not exclusive -- focus on the neighborhood directly adjacent to our new meeting place at St. Stephens Church, which will also be the site of many of our upcoming concerts and other events.
We could use your energy and ideas to do this and more!
